Fair employment and equal opportunity
The Audi working world
Important aspects of the
Audi working world include making work schedules and locations more flexible. We take into account the various phases of our employees’ lives and foster collaboration based on trust. Appreciation and respect are at the heart of the
Audi leadership principles, which we first introduced in Germany in 2015 and then rolled out internationally.
Our corporate values responsibility, appreciation, integrity and openness are cornerstones of our actions.
To ensure maximum flexibility for your personal life path, we offer various working hours models.
In addition, our employees are entitled to mobile work as long as this is compatible with their work assignment. There is also a drive to make working hours in production more flexible. A pilot project launched in 2017 at the Ingolstadt site to achieve greater flexibility in shift schedules so that employees can achieve a better work-life balance.
We want to increase the proportion of women at all levels and boost cultural diversity – especially in management. Other issues we are focusing on include active generational management, promoting integration and the topic of sexual orientation and identity. The aim is to promote agility within the company as well as closeness to the customer. Diversity management has been handled since the start of 2017 by a separate Human Resources unit.
Recruiting and promoting women
To get girls and young women interested in technology and the Audi brand early on in their career orientation, we actively participate in campaigns such as Girls’ Day and the Women in Research camp.
We support talented and high-performing female employees on their career paths with the “Sie und Audi” program series. The programs include a mentoring program for women who show high potential as well as seminars and networking opportunities.
